Bartender

Responsibilities
- Prepare alcoholic or non-alcoholic beverages for bar patrons
Interact with customers, take orders and serve snacks and drinks
Assess customers’ needs and preferences and make recommendations
Follows all bar recipes to deliver a consistent product, control costs, and maximize Guest satisfaction
Plan and present bar menu
Check every customers’ identification and confirm it meets legal drinking age
Restock and replenish bar inventory and supplies
Stay guest focused and nurture a positive guest experience
Comply with all food and beverage regulations
Creates a warm, fun atmosphere for guest and team members
Adheres to sanitation procedures
Maintains responsibility for personal bank and ensures all financial transactions are accurate by operating POS systems correctly, calculating and returning appropriate change, and maintaining adequate cash and coin for making change
Completes opening/closing duties in a timely manner
Completes bar inventories and daily requisition sheets as requested and required

Assists other team members as needed or as business dictates
Requirements
- Resume and proven working experience as a bartender
Excellent knowledge of mixing, garnishing, and serving drinks
Computer literacy and ability to quickly learn POS system
Excellent communication skills
Must have a Team mindset
Positive, friendly, patient and helpful attitude towards guests and team members
Ability to keep the bar organized, stocked and clean
Relevant training certificates, alcohol and food handling
Follows alcohol awareness procedures for preventing intoxication and dealing with intoxicated guests
Work days, nights, and/or weekends as required
Work in noisy, fast paced environment with distracting conditions
Read and write handwritten notes
Lift and carry up to 30 pounds
Carry items up and down stairs
Move about facility and stand for long periods of time
Walk or stand 100% of shift.
Reach, bend, stoop, mop, sweep and wipe frequently
Dressed in proper dress code requirements, looking neat, clean and professional at all times
